Super Quick

Bought 4 new books today. They are:

Confessions of a Little Black Gown by Elizabeth Boyle-I give it a C+. Wasn't awful, but didn't really take off until last 50 pages or so. Am intrigued by next book.

The Betrayal by Pati Nagle-Never read her and it looks intriguing.

The newest Jo Davis book (brainfarting on name)

Eve of Darkness by S. J. Day-KB pimped this book big time. Hoping it lives up to the hype.

I was really disappointed in The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. Hoping this book will get me out of drought.

Night!

Yeah, I was underwhelmed by The Madness of Lord Ian also. Maybe too much buzz & hype? I really wanted to read it and then, had to convince myself to finish it. I could've easily quit after about 100 pages but I kept thinking I'd find out what everyone else was so gaga over...so I kept reading. Not a keeper for me.

Sorry you didn't love TMoLIM. I loved it. I know that it doesn't have appeal for everyone though, so understand. Books get to people in different ways. I have Jo Davis' new one - hope it's good.

I have TMOLIM on my TBR list, but it will probably be a while before I get to it.... I'm interested, considering the hype, how I find it. I'm honestly not sure, especially considering how I'm finding Lover Avenged...

I've not heard a lot of good things about TMoLIM from everyone I know that has read it! I haven't picked it up yet, maybe I'll go on the WL at PBS for it!

I have Jo Davis' new one in my TBR and I can't wait to get a chance to read it!!
